I went out for a lovely walk in the Redwoods today. Jeff was there, along with the cool air and the moist soil and the green, green, green everywhere, along with the beautiful browns. Memories of walking Fall Creek, once we did it right after a huge storm and water flowed like yosemite.
i'm so sad as i just received this news about jeff. just want to send jeff so much love and thanks. you always brought love and humor to every situation. that's what i remember most about you...your humor. which always saw the absurdity and hilariousness in every situation. i miss you now, even though i haven't seen you in close to 20 years. as a woman who for most of my life has felt uncomfortable around most men, i always felt comfortable with you. you made me feel attractive without ever once making me feel threatened. this was unusual. you were a very special person, and this earth has lost a very unique and wise being. all love and peace to you on your journey dear soul. with love and remembrance, carla
